THE SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETS INSTITUTE OF JERUSALEM

Have you ever considered why you have never read the word “education” in the bible? This is because the original bible was penned in the Hebrew language; there is no word in the Hebrew language which translates to the English word “education”.

Dedication was the ideal Hebraic method for training, learning and schooling. Ancient Hebrew scholars understood that during the process of training a student, inevitably he becomes “dedicated” to safeguarding that which he has been “trained” in. The idea of “education” was not a Hebraic concept therefore no Hebrew word directly translates to education. The Hebrew concept for

teaching; learning;

schooling, etc,

Actually translates

to the English word

“dedication”.

For example;

when the

student is trained/

educated in the idea

of love he will be

dedicated to safe-

guarding the idea of love.

On the contrary, if the student is

trained/educated in the idea of free

enterprise and capitalism he will be

dedicated to safeguarding the ideas and institutions of exploitation.

An ancient Hebrew proverb stated:

“Train up a child in the way he should go:

and when he is old, he will not depart from it”.

Proverbs: 22:6
